Lombardy
Hall
Lombardy Hall is 48' x 35' with tables and chairs for over 80
people. There is a large fully equipped kitchen with a 6 burner
gas cooker, large capacity fridge and freezer, microwave, dishwasher,
3 sinks (Health and safety requirement) and sufficient crockery,
cutlery and cookware for up to 100 people. There is a serving hatch
from the kitchen into the main hall area. Heating is by electric
wall heaters and the building is double glazed. 25 camp beds
are available to allow the main hall to be used as indoor sleeping
accomodation. There is wheelchair access to both side entrances
of this hall
Lombardy Hall
can be hired in conjunction with Hush Inn Hall and the Portakabins
if required.
Hush Inn
Hall
Hush Inn hall is 35' x 21' with double glazing and central heating.
It sleeps 20 there are bunk beds for 16 and mattresses for 4 laid
on the floor in one large room. Enough tables and chairs for 36
are provided. There is a kitchen with a 6 burner gas cooker, microwave,
fridge, freezer, together with crockery, cutlery and cookware for
up to 36 people. Overnight toilet facilities are provided but the
sites toilet block (which is very close by) should be used at all
other times. Solid ramps lead to and from the main and fire doors.
Next door to
the hall there are two portakabins which provide functional sleeping
quarters for an additional 16. This assits with mixed groups and
leader requirements.
Gas and Electricity
costs are included in the cost of hiring both halls.

Facilities
Toilet Block
(at the top near the halls)
In addition to toilets the Ladies facilities include 4 wash
basins, 1 large sink, 3 showers (free) and 2 hot air hand driers.
The Gents facilities include 2 cubicles, 2 urinals, 3 wash
basins, 2 showers (free) and 2 hot air hand driers.
There is also a separate disabled toilet with sink.
All showers and wash basins have hot water.
A solid ramp leads up to the toilets.
Adjacent to
this block there is an outside sink with hot and cold water for
campers to use for washing up and a fresh water tap for drinking
and cooking.
Toilet Block
(at the end of the first field)
Ladies and Gents facilities each with wash basins. Large
wash room with 12 wash basins. Electric lighting throughout.
(Cold water only at present, No Showers)
First Aid
This site has a fully equipped first aid bay and there are first
aiders on the site crew. However all groups should bring a first
aid kit and have a first aider in their leadership team.
Site Shop
The site shop sells all manner of Uniforms, Badges, Books, Trophies,
Souvenirs, Sweets and drinks.
Official opening times are
Friday 19:15 - 21:30
Saturday 14:15 - 17:30
Additional opening times can normally be arranged when there
are campers on site.
Campfire
There is a large fenced campfire area with seating for around 80
Chapel
There is a chapel in the middle of the first field with benches
around the edge for groups who wish to organise some sort service
during their stay.
